Let's Read Stories offers real picture-book read-alouds -- Pete the Cat titles, seasonal stories, classic children's books -- narrated plainly and paced specifically for listening along rather than rushed through. The channel was named a top read-aloud pick by WeAreTeachers back in 2024, notably well after the channel itself had already gone quiet, which speaks to how well the existing library has held up over time even without new content being added. Audio quality does vary somewhat between individual videos, and there's been nothing new posted since 2020, so this is very much a fixed library rather than an actively growing one. Even with those caveats, the content itself remains genuinely good, and the fact that outside educators still recommend it years later is a meaningful signal of its lasting quality.
