Our check

Dr. Poppy's Pet Rescue uses cartoon vet-themed animal-care songs to weave in real counting and color concepts alongside the actual process of caring for animals, and it follows a real, if formulaic, teaching structure -- the same basic song format gets repeated with a new animal and a new lesson each time. That repetition is a feature rather than a flaw: the predictability is genuinely appropriate for toddlers, and young viewers tend to respond well to knowing roughly what's coming next, which makes the learning easier to absorb. The channel hasn't uploaded anything since December 2023, so it's effectively a closed library now rather than one that's still growing. Even so, the videos already up remain a solid, age-appropriate pick for toddlers, and the format holds together well even watched well after the fact today.
