Blippi

Blippi's enthusiasm for how things work -- fire trucks, factories, construction sites, the mechanics behind everyday machines -- is genuinely educational, and it's easy to see kids picking up real vocabulary from watching him break things down with that trademark excitement. The character is likeable and there's real curiosity-driven learning happening in a meaningful chunk of the catalogue. Our main hesitation is pacing and content mix rather than Blippi himself: episodes cut every few seconds, faster than we'd generally recommend for sustained attention at this age, and a noticeable portion of the catalogue leans on toy-unboxing segments and branded playset videos that read closer to consumerism than curriculum -- watching someone unbox a toy isn't really teaching anything, even if it's entertaining. Given both the pacing and that content mix, we'd treat this as one worth co-viewing rather than leaving on autoplay.
